Investigations of Cholecystitis

History
EPIGASTRIC pain radiating to the RIGHT HYPOCHONDRIUM, may radiate to tip of scapula
Quality: Colicky --> Constant
Associated symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, fever

Physical Examination
Fever, tachycardia, jaundice
Maximal tenderness in right hypochondrium with guarding & rebound
+ve Murphy's sign

Investigations
Blood tests: FBC, ESR, bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, serum aminotransferase
Urinalysis
Pregnancy test
Abdominal ultrasound
CT scan
Hepatobiliary scintigraphy
